Our bodies were made to move, but most people live highly sedentary lives. Medical researchers declare “Sitting is the New Smoking” as studies indicate a sedentary lifestyle not only causes weight gain and joint damage, but diabetes, heart disease and even cancer.

The Pew 2 Pavement training program supported, encouraged and equipped members of the body of Christ to embrace the discipline of walking/running as an act of worship and stewardship. Program participants received an eight week customized training plan that started at their current level of activity/fitness, and progressed safely and effectively towards their appropriate goal.  Read more.
